Currently serving as the Director of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) at the University of South Florida, (www.usf.edu ) a Florida Preeminent University. The University of South Florida serves more than 50,000 students and maintains approximately 16,000 faculty/staff across four (4) campuses and additional affiliated locations. Responsible for promoting a culture of safety by advancing adherence to the principles of safety, environmental compliance, and risk management, and assists the university community in achieving positive outcomes through education, hazard assessment, exposure mitigation, and the responsible management of hazardous materials.

- Recipient of company’s 2015 Excellence in Quality award. - Senior Project Manager for HRP’s Florida office’s compliance audits, including HRP’s efforts within the Environmental Peer Audit Program for colleges and universities (an innovative process developed from EPA’s Self-Audit Policy). - Developed and presented numerous compliance/safety related training sessions for both large, multi-sector groups as well as tailored, individual settings, including: RCRA Hazardous Waste, DOT Hazardous Materials, IATA Dangerous Goods, OSHA Hazard Communication/Globally Harmonized System (GHS), Biomedical Waste Training, SPCC, and Storm Water Pollution Prevention.- Responsible for the preparation of numerous SPCC Plans as well as SWPPP as required under the Clean Water Act. Worked collaboratively with clients to ensure that plans are prepared in a manner that best suits the site’s activities and operations as well as facilitates on-site compliance in the most efficient/effective manner. - Developed and provided waste management training, audit support, development of waste analysis and management plans, hazardous waste determinations, waste minimization plans, and contingency plans.- Detailed experience in ISO 14001 (Environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health & Safety) Management System program development and compliance support in both industrial and educational applications.

Environmental Manager for Mosaic Fertilizer, LLC responsible for team management as well as senior level project management/technical support for all aspects of industrial environmental/regulatory compliance support (CAA, CWA, RCRA, NPDES, SARA, CERCLA) for multiple active and inactive chemical processing/fertilizer production facilities in West Central Florida.
