Release Manager
CurrentCommunicate with internal teams regarding key project plans, commitments, and essential changes including project requirements, schedule updates, scope changes, and process QA plans.Responsible for the Release Management lifecycle and coordination of the various production aspects for projects benefiting users and customers. These efforts will include the formation and tracking of timelines in and out of departmental tools, the delegation of departmental resources for technical project efforts, and the formation of processes for maintaining quality & improving automation and scalability across the portfolio of solutions. Responsible for planning projects, forecasting time and resource requirements, coordinating staff availability, and reviewing progress and deliverables for engineering efforts.Serve as the department Scrum Master and lead the scheduling & tracking of designs, modifications, coding, and implementations of new or modified business application programs.Maintain/uphold a release repository/source to manage key information like build and release procedures, notification lists, and dependencies.Advise management of options for developing or modifying an existing system or purchasing and modifying a commercially available system. Gather requirements from end users for developing requirements documentation for assigned projects and will work with Technical Writing resources to document customer-impacting development projects based on their opportunity value & priority.
