Under my leadership, the #GoodPillow became "one of the most read about consumer stories of 2021" ~ PRWeek and was named the #1 pillow by Rolling Stone Magazine, alongside countless celebrity & influencer endorsements.

Sole investor, co-founder, and CEO of the famous "#GoodPillow" — named the top talked about consumer brand of the year by PRWeek & rated the best pillow of the year by Rolling Stone Magazine… I started the business with the March For Our Lives co-founder, David Hogg. GoodPillow is a "for purpose" business, with a focus on bringing manufacturing back to America and re-investing proceeds into various charitable groups aligned with our mission. In 2022, GoodPillow was acquired by Pillow-Fight, and the two companies merged operations.

Served as the public "CEO" / face of IQ.wiki's prediction marketplace, PredIQt (a product developed in IQ.wiki's internal product labs). My primary day-to-day roles for PredIQt included influencer marketing, public relations, market creation/structuring/management, product management, and full-stack engineering.In addition as serving as the public face of IQ.wiki's prediction platform, I also was the lead developer for PredIQt's underlying tech — which was used as a foundation for what would later become FRAX… a stablecoin with a fully diluted market cap currently in excess of $1 billion. The team of engineers I managed was fully remote, and I reported directly to the CEO.

You’re in charge* View what's hot on the Trending section* And so much more...  With Ponder, the world is at your fingertips.—As Ponder's technical co-founder and CEO, I:• Directly led engineering team in development of highly portable Python (Flask) REST API hosted on EC2 to dynamically scale the app, supporting bursts in usage to the scale of thousands of new users joining within seconds of each other• Managed implementation of SQL datastore on AWS’s DynamoDB and ElastiCache, using an in-memory Redis cache to improve the API’s performance at scale for specific resource-intensive features (i.e. fuzzy search)• Developed a client-side SQLite datastore to maintain data integrity & persist frequently requested data, allowing the client to gracefully handle momentary network interruptions without degrading the user experience• Designed + developed a client-side UI + animation framework to achieve a unique but consistent user experience, utilizing progressive enhancement to take advantage of the latest iOS APIs while still supporting older iOS versions

Taught myself programming in middle school from online Stanford courses & went on to develop over a dozen iOS apps throughout middle & high school which are now used by more than 7.5 million people.
