I work hard, maintain high work standards, learn fast and independently, and can therefore apply myself well to new disciplines.I am currently employed as a coach-builder / panel beater / fabricator-welder at Roach Manufacturing Ltd, making world class coachwork for high end classic and vintage cars. I set up Swift Aerial Media Ltd. in 2016 with my business partner Tom Rowe. We operated heavy drone platforms for the TV industry. We worked with clients across many industries including Calor Gas, Ryobi, the BBC and National Geographic.In 2012-13 I worked as a project geologist for Stratex International Plc. in Liberia, exploring for orogenic gold deposits. Stream sediments, soils and trenches were all completed, indicating good potential for a drill program. I worked on low-sulphidation epithermal Au projects in Northern Ethiopia before being transferred to West Africa. In 2011 I worked as a field geologist for Invictus Gold Ltd. Perth WA., exploring in an area of Queensland (SW of the Pajingo) for potential porphyry Au prospects by mag/radiometric interpretation in combination with my surface mapping. Drill targets were located and followed up based on my reports.I spent two years as an officer cadet with the Officer Training Corps. I had many opportunities to take different command positions from Section IC/2IC to Platoon Commander while training in Cyprus, Austria and Germany as well as England and Wales.Over the years I have worked with a great variety of people as a sailing instructor for the New Forest based Spinnaker Sailing Club, including children as young as 5, and people with acute learning and physical disabilities.I have a passion for vintage cars and have been a proud member of the Vintage Sports Car Club for 15 years. I compete all over the country in hillclimbs and sprints in my little Austin Seven racer.
