Master student in Media and Communication Studies: Culture, Collaborative Media and Creative industries at Malmö University. My masters thesis is titled "Meme Marketing to Fellow Kids - Corporate identity in memetic media and vernacular communities", and examined how corporations use memes to market themselves. Through this i reached knowledge on how relevant communities discuss and this type of marketing and how an authentic identity ultimately is ascribed to a corporation. I also found that the authenticity is ascribed partly due to the technical context around the production, and partly through a perceived sense of individuality; meaning that corporations thus have to abandon certain more traditional marketing notions when choosing to represent themselves in this manner.

During my time as a student, I was given a unique opportunity to take a year long break from my studies to work full time as Head of Marketing/COO at Lunds Nation, a student organization tied to Lund University. My work entailed working with social media marketing, event coordination and project management. I was the head project manager for several projects, involving a white-tie dinner event for some 500 seated guests. I also started and managed several smaller scale projects in events, recruitment, and fair/convention presence.My work with social media marketing involved managing a continued and constant social media presence, as well as identifying opportunities and implementing changes to make the process better and more effective both behind the scenes and externally toward our target audience.These experiences has ultimately given me an eye for the smaller details that can make or break the execution of projects, events and marketing efforts, as well as valuable leadership and management skills.
