Report to a R&D Manager, collaborate with a team of about 15 Engineers and 25 Engineering CAD Technicians. My activities include but are not limited to doing CAD drafting activities. Some my activities will fall into the "individual contributor" category, but in general a collaborative approach accomplished with a team of Engineers, other Engineering CAD Technicians and Testing Technicians. My activities will include:• Preparing, editing and creating engine component and assembly drawings and models for approval. • Working on models, fitting check of prototype or new parts.• Preparing engineering change orders (ECOs) to change engine structures and components as warranted per internal/external customer request.• Researching, collecting data and/or making mathematical calculations to recommend or make design changes to engine or component parts.• Communicating relevant information between and across departments.• Training others in department as necessary.• Following all company policies and procedures, Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS & EMS), Kawasaki Production System (KPS) and any other legal and compliance regulations that may apply such as OSHA.
