My responsibilities encompass a wide range of critical functions:Sponsorship Acquisition: Deliver presentations to secure sponsorships from major companies such as Bacardi, Jack Daniels, and Snap Vodka, ensuring substantial financial support for the event.Talent Booking: Assist in booking of top music artists, including high-profile acts like Whiskey Meyers, Koe Wetzel, etc. to enhance the festival’s appeal and entertainment value.Financial Management: Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts for 2024 operating revenue. Oversee cash flow management, process all financial billings and payments, and assist the CPA with the 2023 tax filing for the non-profit to ensure financial stability and regulatory compliance.Charitable Contributions: Distribute donations to multiple charitable organizations, reinforcing the festival’s commitment to supporting local causes.Contract Negotiations: Assist in negotiating contracts with sponsors, vendors, and artists to secure favorable terms and align with event objectives.Operational Planning: Lead strategic operational planning to streamline event logistics, including the hiring of staff and volunteers, and ensuring hospitality for all stakeholders involved.Ticket Sales and Marketing: Drive ticket sales through targeted marketing strategies, maximizing attendance and revenue for the festival.
