Aclymate is building an automated, seamless carbon accounting solution so a new generation of businesses can easily become carbon neutral or negative. As co-founder and CTO I'm leading the development effort for this new platform including software architecture and development, product ideation and design, and UI/UX design.In this role I run Aclymate's engineering team and product strategy, and work directly with my cofounder and growth team to ensure that our product supports the company's strategic objectives.

I serve on the board of the company where I help set its long-term strategic vision and plan, ensure that shareholders interests are upheld and provide oversight to the company's management team.

I was installed as the Interim President/CFO by the board to save the company from insolvency after the CEO was removed. I reduced discretionary expenses, brought operations in-house and built a financial model to understand short and long-term cash-flow projections for the company. I worked with the board to develop a new operational strategy for the company that was sustainable in the long-term and oversaw the hiring and transition to a new long-term management team for the company.

I serve on the board where I advise the CEO on fundraising and marketing/sales, and help set and guide the company's long-term strategy.

I worked inside of RenewWest to develop early stage software concepts related to carbon accounting, voluntary carbon markets, and carbon project development.

Led development of full stack web/mobile applications connected to IoT devices including: o Designing, developing and deploying cloud-hosted back-end architecture, infrastructure, and APIs.o UI/UX design, testing, development and deployment of responsive front-end interfaces for web and mobile apps. o Hiring, mentoring and managing a team of junior developers. o Developing testing and reporting procedures so customer support staff could effectively communicate with developers.Oversaw development and design of new IoT product from idea to production and sale; managed all phases of project including coordinating with vendors, developing supply chain, product design iterations, user testing/validation, manufacturing and fulfillment of hundreds of units. Developed and implemented company’s strategic vision, hired and managed key team players, oversaw all day-to-day company operations: Key accomplishments include: o Completing a successful crowdfunding campaign.o Acquiring the largest distributor in our target space.o Negotiating and closing $420K from angel investors in two rounds.o Over a dozen media placements in local and national publications.

• Participated in groundwater engineering design projects for water wells, pumping stations, and infiltration galleries.• Oversaw field operations for water engineering projects including construction observations, pump and yield tests, and mapping.• Interacted with clients to determine project scope and budget and prepare and deliver reports and presentations.

I collect streamwater, groundwater and soil samples in the backcountry of Rocky Mountain National Park for the purposes of research and long term water-quality monitoring. In lab I prepare the samples for analyses and enter them into USGS databases, as well as performing various other tasks that keep the lab running. Additionally I plot the field data in Arc GIS and perform spatial analyses to understand the spatial distribution of the field parameters.

I served as a teaching assistant for four sections Earth and Environmental Systems and one section of Arc GIS.
