William Low is a ERP Implementation Consultant @ William Low Consultants Ltd at SLR Consulting. Colleagues describe him as "I worked with Billy during my time at Deltek. He was head of systems for HKA and was technically my client. We didn't always see eye to eye during this time due to Billy's "dog with a bone" attitude. By this I mean he is tenacious, he knew our product better than most of my team did and he was constantly holding us to promises or deadlines that we'd committed to as well as being able to predict possible problems or pitfalls prior to them actually happening. His knowledge of ERP systems was outstanding and he really is someone I'd want on my side during either the implementation of a new solution, the upgrade of an existing one or the overall maintenance of your current ERP. Billy isn't afraid to ask difficult questions or to hold even the highest of executives to account but he does so with humour, goodwill and with the technical acumen to back it up. My biggest recommendation for Billy though is that he is reasonable and is able to think both rationally and logically to come up with creative solutions to problems. Sometimes after coming off the phone with him I'd be frustrated with how the call had gone because "He's right! and that's really annoying" I was often heard saying." and "I had the distinct pleasure of working with Bill for almost 20 years. Billy is a very experienced and knowledgeable ERP professional. He is a team player but can also work on his own initiative, which happened quite regularly as Billy was the expert of our systems that everyone went to for advice and support. Billy is professional, forthright, but has a lovely manner with a sense of humour, which is used to put employee at ease and to lighten intense meetings. During the time I worked with Billy, he was responsible for all the ERP Data that was stored within the company. His knowledge of systems and data was regularly put to the test during acquisitions, data transfers, system upgrades, and our move to a SaaS model within the Cloud. Billy has extensive knowledge of DELTEK Vision/Vantagepoint gathered over around 15 years working with the DELTEK products. His interpersonal skills were excellent and were used very successfully when liaising with Deltek Support, Engineering, Consultancy and Senior Deltek Management. As a Financial Director I found Billy’s ability to report financial information in our required format both beneficial to myself and the organisation. I consider Billy not only as a work colleague but as a friend."
