Oversee and manage the procurement of stock, componentry and consumables from national and international suppliers. Manage suppliers and develop purchasing strategies which meet budgetary and other operational requirements of the company. Creating ongoing cost savings/competitiveness through widening sources of supply, minimization of MOQs to limit capital exposure for the business and negotiate beneficial payment and delivery terms. Manage supplier relationships and tender reviews, creation of supplier scorecards, supplier payments, KPI’s, componentry stock levels at suppliers and track purchase orders to ensure supplier DIFOT KPI’s are met.Manage global purchasing and planning to ensure all inventory, componentry and stock levels meet finance KPI’s benchmarks. Ensure DIFOT stock order fulfillment rates meet KPI levels for Napoleon Stores, major customers like David Jones, MYER and Partners such as TWC, HHWH and Salons. Supervise, review and approve global monthly sales forecasts and stock projections generated by demand planners. Establish product launch allocations for the business working with historic data, key managers and sales team to ensure optimal results and high stock turn for the business. Lead weekly S&OP meetings with national sales managers, brand managers and marketing managers to ensure all stock requirements, promotional activities and sales budgets align with the monthly forecasts and stock purchasing budget. Control the FIFO system and create reporting on batch control for the aging of stock to keep product shelf life optimized and ensure oldest products are sold first. Review bi-yearly aged, non-performing stock and classify them as obsolete stock. Create product manufacturing timelines to assist with capacity planning in the Distribution Centre.
