Reclaimed the Intervarsity title, leading Trinity to victory over UCD in a grandstand win. Defended the Colours match title, winning 5/6 matches and delivering a decisive victory.My drive to bring competitive and performance-based goals to the forefront of the club was realised with Trinity's most successful international year in over 5 years. With two athletes qualified for U23 European Championships, six representing Ireland at Senior 5 Nations and two competing at Senior World Cup Satellites. Further to this, the culture of performance set by my example has teed the club up for one of its biggest international years ever. I expect to see athletes represented across U20, U23, Senior 5 Nations and Senior levels in the next season. This has all come from a rut where the club's performance and drive for international acclaim had been put in serious jeopardy.I have also seriously increased our exposure to the university and governing bodies. Within Trinity Sport and Trinity College Dublin, fencing is now moving towards mainstream. My work in relations with officers and members of executive staff has brought the profile of fencing to an incredibly healthy point. Show less

Took on the executive office at the end of my first year. The post involved handling all club funds, interaction between club and sponsors, governing bodies etc. Digitalised and automated all club accounts and set up a reporting system for future officers.
