Working for the Municipality of North Perth in the public works department allowed me to experience a vast amount of duties and responsibilities. Some of the work consisted of road maintenance which involved anything from replacing signs to cold patching, and even the construction of new roads. Other jobs within the municipality involved; water main maintenance, weed wacking, catch basin maintenance, tree & branch removal/pick up, garbage pick up, water sample testing, sidewalk grinding, occasional brick laying, and much more. Overall my experience working within the Municipality had shown me how to use many tools as well as how to interact with the public in a professional and timely manner.

My original hiring at Zehrs Food Market in Listowel was for the position of Cashier. For a year and a couple months I held that position, handling and distributing food to our valued customers. Some of my responsibilities were; handling money, showing friendly emotions to customers, sanitary cleanup of front end tills.I had an opportunity to help store development at on of our stores in Alliston Ont. The management there saw my hard work/determination and offered a position to work with them once I was 18 years of age. Upon my birthday I was granted the job. My responsibilities were as follows: strip old aisles, remove current items on shelves safely, dispose of old shelving/flooring, implement store development planograms (blueprints for aisles), complete each task before the given deadline. This job had shown me extreme time management/problem solving skills as it was a fast pace and ever changing environment.
