Coordinate with maintenance superintendent and plant manager to implement stronger compliant safety policies, create a visual workplace, identify and eliminate waste to increase profitability margin, and create ease of access of consumables to increase uptime and tonnage while decreasing downtime and waste waiting. As plant safety lead I wrote machine specific LO/TO procedures for the willow plant, stopped the use of e-stops as operational stops, standardized electrical drops to prevent crossing voltage, and added pneumatic dump valves to all equipment to be in compliance with company policy. My title was Electrical Mechanical Tech, but I was involved in all aspects of the company because of my working knowledge of MDI, 6S, TPM, JSA / JHA, and my education involving Situational Leadership, Continuous Improvement, and Supporting a Diverse Team.

The duties I performed at this Company included start up/ shut down of various pieces of equipment. Operation of Cincinnati Falcon 200 bar feed, Falcon 300, Falcon 400. Doosan 300L, Puma, and Millwork when assigned. Fluent with O.D. mics, I.D. mics, Depth mics, Venires/ Calipers, Print reading, And various types of tooling. (boring bars, threaders, OD tools, knurlers, taps, etc.) I run to customer demand, and try to keep a mindset of process improvement, and continue to share what I have learned from previous activities with managing for daily improvement (MDI), 6S , and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

To include hydraulic and pneumatic systems, Robotics and automated control. My duties at Quad graphics - performing scheduled maintenance tasks, preventative / predictive maint, Breakdown Repair, Replacement and or ordering of new components, Troubleshooting, Installation and modification of equipment, Working with other mechanics and managers as a team.

Duties performed at this company include preventative maintenance for all production equipment, Breakdown Repair, 110v - 480v electrical systems, fabrication, welding, blade sharpening, radio communications, USDA sanitary, and cross training with building maintenance.( anhydrous ammonia gas related safety )

2nd Press Operator, Gravure pressroom, Set up Of industrial printing equipment. Paper and plate loading, through high speed process, automated delivery, and stacking. Troubleshoot equipment, adjust to maintain register and quality from print, to folder, to distribution.
