Description in progressLead a Joint Forces Cyber Security Team comprised of 11 Service Members located throughout NY to provide support to State, Local, and Tribal Territories under the authority of the Division of Homeland Security. Additionally, oversee liaison program between NY Joint Force Headquarters and FBI for cyber intelligence sharing and collaboration- Work in collaboration with law enforcement, center for internet security, NYS Intelligence Center, USCYBERCOM, and ARCYBER- Conduct cyber security assessments for critical infrastructure to include law enforcement, governmental entities, energy, healthcare, water treatment, and transportation sectors- Conduct incident response to cyber attacks- During incident responses lead teams in the use of forensic tools and techniques to determine the attack lifecycle and direct hunt and clear actions on the affected networks

-Engineer, install, operate, maintain, and defend critical network infrastructure and conduct cyberspace operations in support of U.S. Cyber Command and the Cyber National Mission Force.-Build and maintain dynamic network and firewall requirements-Design and implement software defined networks-Implement ansible and AWX to quickly deploy new designs and requirements-Configure network elements to meet or exceed DISA security requirements-Design and implement security taps and ensure critical data and traffic was monitored-Extensive Python programming to automate and document network change control-Collaborate with external teams to design and execute plans in a dynamic and fast paced environment using emerging technologies-Experience with Confluence, Redmine, Jira, and Gliffy to track and document designs and projects-Experience with Linux operating systems to include headless servers, virtualization, and desktop work environments
