Settle Ce Primary School

At Settle CE Primary School, completing a range of administration and teaching assistant duties. My responsibilities include general administration work, classroom support and I am in a privileged position where I am teaching Information Technology (IT). I am constantly required to use my initiative and judgement especially when working with SEN children, as various teaching techniques work with different children. I am an enthusiastic team member, able to both co-operate and lead efficiently but I am not afraid to seek advice where necessary. I have a very high level of proficiency with computers, adapting quickly to new programs, I interact with people very well and I have a keen eye for detail. A large part of my contract is to teach groups of children IT so as to help prepare them for the ever growing future in technology.

Whilst I was working at Skipton Building Society I offered professional customer service meeting many targets and deadlines. In my position as Customer Advisor, quick decisions and accuracy were very frequently required so as to give the customers the right information while not keeping them longer than necessary. I was the first point of contact for customers in their applications and queries regarding mortgages, so I fully recognise how important first impressions are. I had to be very well organised, handle data accurately, pay attention to details and cross reference information, all whilst working under constant pressure.
