As a Marquee Rigger at Best Intent Marquees, I work with a team of professionals to provide high-quality marquee hire and event services across Scotland and Northern England. I have been involved in setting up, maintaining, and dismantling marquees for various occasions, such as weddings, festivals, and corporate events. I have also developed skills in customer service, health and safety, and problem-solving. In addition to my current role, I have been working as a Bar Staff at Tempest Brewing Co, Xenia Recruitment and most recently at Cosy Joes, where I have gained experience in bartending, cash handling, and stock management. I am currently pursuing a degree in History at Newcastle University, where I am learning about the historical and cultural contexts of different regions and periods, and developing my research, writing, and critical thinking skills. I am passionate about history and its relevance to the present and future, and I aspire to apply my knowledge and skills to all my future career endeavours.
