• Successfully resolved the illegal dumping of hazardous waste at a municipal landfill. The hazardous waste was removed, and the landfill returned to compliance with its TCEQ permit.

• Managed the City of Oakland MS4 Industrial/Commercial Storm Water Inspection Program and Illicit Discharge Elimination Program• Enabled the $300 million Monte Vista Village 420-unit housing development to move forward by assisting the developer to meet all state and federal stormwater compliance requirements at the Leona Quarry• Created a system to save the City of Oakland approximately $100,000+ and prevent potential stormwater permit violations for the City by doubling the number of industrial inspections completed without increasing the City’s MS4 stormwater program budget • Created a grant funded project that solved an ongoing violation of State of California water quality rules. The $460,000 project involved investigating and abating PCBs located throughout a City of Oakland watershed. • Created two water quality projects to assist the City of Oakland with resolving ongoing violations of State of California water quality rules in Lake Merritt (in Oakland)
