As an HCC Health Advocate at Yard56, I assist clients with applications for essential resources like Medicaid and SNAP, while providing bilingual support in English and Spanish. I manage sensitive documentation, create referrals, and follow up weekly to ensure clients can navigate complex social services effectively. Additionally, I document client interactions on Epic, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint, reporting outcomes to HCC leadership and CARE team members to support impactful community advocacy.

As a Peer Leader, I serve as a resident advisor, managing budgeting, maintenance requests, and incident reports. I also counsel and advise first-year FLI students on academic and personal concerns, ensuring they have the support they need to succeed.

I advise low income, high achieving students with college essays, college list building, resume workshopping, financial aid, etc throughout their college application process
