My resume reflects an escalating path of growth and success in the commercial film industry as well as my newly acquired CCNA certification. Due to the financial crisis in 2008, the commercial film industry virtually disappeared from New York City and moved to Los Angeles. I was not able to relocate to follow the work. This left me with an amazing opportunity to formalize my natural talents as the “go-to” IT expert, and turn it into a career. I enrolled in a Cisco Networking Academy to put my abilities to work. In my career thus far, I have become an expert at managing projects, budgets and collaboration, and believe this success will easily enhance the role I take on as Cisco Certified Network Associate in any organization. I understand that my transition into the IT field will start with an entry level job and I welcome the chance to learn from other experts. In conjunction with the necessary experience, I aspire to complete my B.S. in computer science, a Masters in computer science, and also become a Cisco Certified Network Professional. With these three goals completed I feel that I would be well prepared for a future in IT.With my years as a line producer I acquired a unique skill set that I know has value across many fields, and certainly to a role in IT. I managed an overall large scale project budget as well as the project work flow, met impossible deadlines, and facilitated the intricacies of payroll for eight departments within the project. I brokered all deals with vendors that supplied equipment for all aspects of film production and was the liaison between all stakeholders. I’ve navigated years of meticulous troubleshooting, led goal-oriented teamwork, and drove excellent interdepartmental collaboration and believe this successful foundation coupled with my newly acquired CCNA certification will bring a fresh perspective and valued skill sets to an IT role within your organization.
