Responsible for the ACS Rubber Division's scientific journal. Strengthened the editorial board, implemented the journal's first online peer-review system, improved bibliographic indexing.

Research and development of methods for characterization and simulation for tire materials, including stress-strain, inelasticity, fatigue and fracture. - Developed and presented internal training for CAE analyst and materials development engineers- Automated Fatigue Crack Growth testing and analysis system- Simulation methods for tire rolling resistance, heat build up, and durability- Development of constitutive modeling approaches for Mullins and Payne effects, nonlinear elasticity- Represented Tire Industry interests on the ABAQUS Fracture Review team- Oversaw sponsored research projects with national and international universities

Responsible for ensuring quality and competitiveness of the Tire Society's internationally renowned technical journal, including peer review standards and process. Led inititiative to put the journal online and to improve distribution of bibliographic information.

Taught grad courses in Continuum Mechanics and Fracture Mechanics, co-advised 2 PhD students.
