I began my role with Rift Group as a Contact Centre Agent in 2012 and after 9 months I moved into a more tax based role.After 3 years of in house qualifications and progressing from assistant to Personal Tax Consultant I began studying towards my ATT Qualification.I completed the last stage of this qualification in December 2018 and assumed the role of Senior Tax Specialist. My role in this position required: - Case Management - The completion of individuals tax returns required for PIT or CGT - Liaising with HMRC to gather information for the completion of clients tax returns - Liaising with HMRC when dealing with compliance issues - Delivering guidance and training to the department relating to IT and CGT I worked in this role for 7 months before moving into the R&D team at Rift.
