Flight Hours: 266Licence: EASA & UK Frozen ATPL(A), MEP(L), SEP(L), IR PBN, MCC, A-UPRTI am a newly qualified professional pilot, previously having taught English and travelled/lived in various countries around the world. I have been a flying enthusiast since I was a small child playing on pilot video games and simulators. The decision to become an airline pilot came in my teenage years, and shaped my decisions and education from then on. As a young adult I flew flight simulators extensively, tried several flights in light aircraft and paragliders. Since 2008 I have been working as an English and aviation English teacher, and have lived in Slovenia (9 years) and China (3 years), as well as various other countries. I love to spend my free time mostly mountaineering, cycling, playing football and travelling.My professional pilot training was conducted at Bartolini Air, Poland, where I successfully completed the modular CPL MEP IR course, with all theoretical and practical parts passed at the first attempt. My ATPL theory average score was 90%. Prior to this, I completed PPL training in Chester, UK, which gave me extensive experience of challenging weather conditions and controlled airspace, with the bonus of operating alongside the Airbus Beluga!Regarding my previous experience, I was recruited as an aviation English teacher and ELP course designer at Adria Airways flight school, Slovenia, in 2014. This experience gave me the indispensable opportunity to utilise my passion as an aviation enthusiast and aspiring airline pilot, and provided the on-going demand to develop as an expert communicator and mediator. My work experience has required me to collaborate synergistically in teams from a variety of cultures and backgrounds, different age groups and across time zones. I feel that the valuable skills and knowledge I have gained are very transferrable and would be beneficial in the aviation operational environment. I am a speaker of several languages.Most recently, I have also successfully completed MCC/JOC and AUPRT training, which has given me an appreciation for CRM and a strong foundation of resilience for dealing with unusual situations.I am thrilled to be looking for my first airline job, and feel very privileged to be in the position I am in. I believe I am ready for the task of cooperating with others in the safe operation of flights, and now have the experience to do this well, and with the required diligence and care that is needed.
