With over six years of experience in cybersecurity, I am passionate about safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of financial data and systems. As a Cyber Risk Analyst at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), I evaluate and assess the security posture of financial institutions and service providers and provide recommendations and guidance to mitigate risk and improve maturity. I hold several certifications, including the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) and the CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+ (CySA+), demonstrating my skills and commitment to blue and red teaming. Additionally, I am pursuing nine SANS GIAC certifications as part of my Master of Science in Information Security Engineering (MSISE) from SANS Technology Institute.I conduct two to six-week engagements with financial institutions and service providers in my current role. I analyze security policies and procedures, review security controls, assess cybersecurity resilience, and identify and prioritize risks and impacts. I write complete and detailed reports on my findings and communicate effectively to bank executives and board members. I also provide technical guidance and support to other examiners conducting IT reviews.
