Jeg var lagfører for 6-10 Rekrutter i Hans Majestet Kongens Garde. Jeg ble selektert blant ca 400 soldater. Det ble stilt krav til gode ferdigheter og personlig egenskaper. Som lagfører utdannet jeg rekrutter på enkeltsmannsnivå innenfor grunnlegende soldatutdanning. Det kreves tett oppfølging av soldatene både mentalt og fysisk. Gardeskolen har fire innrykk i året og et stort antall soldater per tropp, noe som førte til mye jobb i avdelingen.
