Education And Employment Initiative Regional Coordinator (Contractor)
CurrentE2I operates with the goal of engaging Recovering Service members early in their recovery process to identify the skills they have, career opportunities that match those skills, and any additional skills they will need to be successful and participate in desired educational and/or employment opportunities. This DOD program is available to all Recovering Service Members in all branches of the Armed Services as well as all components of those Services (Active, Guard, and Reserve).EducationRegional Coordinators work with the Service members to determine education requirements for desired career path. These educational requirements may include Formal Degree Pro-grams or Training, Certification and Licensing programs. Once identified, the RC works together with available Base/Post Transition Services, Department of Veterans Affairs, and Community Resources to assist the Service Member in attaining their goals.EmploymentE2I Regional Coordinators are present in the community throughout their Region building relationships with employers. By building relation-ships with employers, the Regional Coordinators are better able to assist the Recovering Service Member by matching and placing the individual with industry partners. The Regional coordinate-tors are working diligently to identify local work-force trends and needed skill sets. In partnership with local industries, E2I Regional Coordinators can assist both the Employers and Recovering Service members in making successful career decisions.
Commandant Iii Corps Nco Academy
Served as Deputy Commandant/Commandant of the largest Army Enlisted Leader Development Academy Fort Hood, Texas. Responsible for the health, welfare, morale, training and professional development 93 personnel. Trained, developed, and mentored a military and civilian workforce. Fostered a climate conducive to continued professional development of 3,200 soldiers/students annually per 12 training cycles. Responsible for the quota distribution for an annual student load of over 4,800 Soldiers for the Warrior Leader Course. Screened, selected, and ensured instructors were properly trained, certified, and maintained credentials in accordance with current regulatory standards.
