I have over 24 years of insurance technology, business development, consultative sales, solution development, and outsourcing services experience in the Property & Casualty and Life & Annuity market globally. I held positions in both the insurance carrier market and the insurance technology market. This has helped me bring a 360 degree view of the opportunities with technology in insurance. I entered into strategic relationships to better serve his clients including partnerships with Suyati Technologies with a focus on customer experience, FOCUS Banking LLC focusing on investments in Insurtech, and The Round Table Group as an expert witness for insurance technology litigation. My insurance solution experience includes insurance product expertise that covers personal lines, commercial lines, and specialty lines products. I developed and delivered technology solutions to support the entire insurance supply chain including pricing, underwriting, quoting, binding, issuance, policy administration, claims and settlement. My technology expertise includes systems programming, network management, software engineering, project and program management, and IT organization management. I successfully navigated IT teams through multiple shifts in technology from mainframe to distributed to mobile; from procedural to object oriented; from on premise to cloud based, and led an emerging technology organization. I was named one of the Elite 8 CIO’s in Insurance by Insurance and Technology Magazine for delivering innovative solutions for core insurance systems. I worked in the carrier side of the insurance market and the supplier side of insurance market. I was regional chief information officer for the largest insurance company in the world and I led insurance software and services companies in multiple capacities including chief operating officer. I built and deployed core insurance solutions to small, medium, and large insurance companies.As we continue the transformation to become digital businesses, I am focused on the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning capability among other key digital building blocks.
