We had our reception at Longfellow's Wayside Inn in the only original room. I interviewed and took a job with Eastman Kodak. We moved to Rochester, NY around Thanksgiving 1965. Kodak was the primo developer and maker of reconnaissance sattelites. I took early retirement, as offered in 1992. We moved to Colorado, where I started a company with a Kodak acquaintance and we developed CD device driver software for Ricoh based on photo CD work done at Kodak. Later, My brother, an attorney in St. Augustine, introduced me to a client who introduced me to his partner in the Financial Industry software businees in Colorado. I ended up at Comprehensive Software Systems for eight years, eventually as President after the board fired the founder. I bought a Polaris Victory motorcycle in 1998. After real retirement in 2004, after consulting with Recon Optical in Chicago and Ball Aerospace in Boulder, My friend and I frequented the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota. In August, 2009 after a trip to Sturgis with five friends, one of the friends and I took a one day tour through Rocky Mountain National Park. We were on our way to Fort Collins for lunch, when I hit a patch of gravel and ended up in the Poudre River canyon. I owe Rudy my life. I was taken by helicopter to the Rocky Mountain Trauma Center in Loveland. After eight weeks in various hospitals and close attention by Lynn and months of therapy, I'm pretty much recovered.Through all this, Lynn and I had two children in Rochester. Andy is an entrepreneur in California with a serious business in marketing consulting called "SherpaBusinessDevelopment". Amy is the senior City Planner for Saint Augustine, Fl.
