CURRENT PRACTICEGeorgia License #1730Responsibilities include: managing projects from concept to construction; production of SDs, DDs, CDs, specifications, & cost estimates; production of project proposals, qualifications, & fee estimates; client development, interaction, and support; community/public relations including the preparation and participation in presentations, town hall meetings, design charettes; bidding administration & contactor selection; contract production & negotiation; guiding projects through City/County permitting; preparation of award nominations; collaboration and coordination with peer professionals such as Civil Engineers, Architects, Structural Engineers, Geotechnical Engineers, Land SurveyorsSkills and knowledge possessed to prepare the following drawings: site plans, grading plans, drainage plans, staking/layout plans, demolition plans, planting plans, City of Atlanta Green Infrastructure plans/calculations, site sections, construction details, master plans, site analysis, cultural/historic inventory, subdivision plans, illustrative renderings for presentations or marketing purposes Construction Administration Experience: coordination with owners, contractors, consultants, and/or governmental officials during the construction process; responses to contractors’ questions/RFIs; review and approval of applications for payment/schedule of values, shop drawings and submittals; construction observation and oversight including the preparation of field reports and punch-lists, shooting spot-grades, approving hardscape forms, and plant locations.Proficient in the following computer programs and graphics: AutoCAD, hand drafting/lettering, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, Microsoft Office, Google Sketchup, Auto Turn, marker rendering, pen and ink, color pencil, water color.
