Responsible for complete control of financial operations for carpentry and roofing subcontracting companies, wholesale lumber company, truss manufacturing, and pre-hung door manufacturing. This required the creation of internal controls and their evaluation, review and interpretation of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual management reports, and the supervision of all accounting personnel. Revenues exceeded $100 million annually, and the combined companies employed over 900 field and office personnel.Other responsibilities included risk management and development of human resource benefits. These benefits included the establishment of a Sec. 129 cafeteria plan for health and dental programs and a 401(k) plan.
