Over 10 years of experience in the NHS has enabled a reliable understanding of clinical services across a range of medical and surgical specialties in the NHS, whilst being successful in improving the performance in line with local and national targets, often with challenging financial and operational constraints. A background of Human Resources has helped to ensure the development of good line management skills necessary to manage a diverse staff group across differing professional boundaries. Being committed and focussed on staff development and performance capability, in order to ensure the multi-disciplinary team is able to overcome the challenges faced and deliver the care to the patients in line with values and objectives of NHS organisations. Operational and practical experiences have been supported by formal training programmes, including the Experiential Learning by the Kings Fund, Prince2 by Skill solve and Leading Projects in the NHS by DH Consultants.
