I work on-site but mainly help people remotely from other sites across the UK and ROI. This roleis for the UK’s largest HR, employment law and health & safety consultancy firm for employers.There’s a fair number of bespoke websites and applications used across various domains of thebrands owned by the company. Work can involve the usual intricacies of multi domain environments.I do the usual stuff in AD, Exchange and O365. Support various conferencing, digital signage, FTPsolutions and remote working technologies in place. There’s too much to go over really.• O365 administration across multiple domains in the Tenant.• Using ADM+ as primary AD management system but also regular AD in some circumstances aswell as Azure AD(Entra ID) management.• Working with our Hybrid setup between on-prem exchange and Online.• MDM initially was SCCM but we have migrated to Intune, where we manage our Windows, IOSand Mac estate (though mac is currently being migrated to JAMF(used to be Airwatch).• Asset management via Asset Panda.• Email management with Mimecast.• Wallboard management via Screencloud(including VM management)• Citrix workspace support and administration• Hardware support for desktops, laptops and docks, Mobile devices, desk printers

Working remotely to help service the needs of ordinary people who are manning the Covid 19government helplines, such as track and trace, vaccine bookings, etc. This is quite an unusual role,with a large number of customers with widely varying levels of computing knowledge. I help themwith anything from system issues, voip, vpn and remote working issues to clearing cookies.• Remote support to a wide variety of BYOD(teamviewer).• Setting up digital signage solutions for store fronts across the country.• Comms room re-cabling and upgrades whilst stores were closed.• Set up and administration of accounts in AD, 365, RingCentral and our VPN platform(Forticlient)

Working within a busy office environment, managing sites across the UK.I work as a 2nd Line service desk technician. Some of my duties include; hardware and softwaresupport, windows and security patching, en-mass deployments, user and website administration.My duties included BAU tasks, handling incoming requests and incidents from customers viatelephone, email and our ticketing system, all within tight SLA’s. Some of my project work included• The overhaul of our knowledge base, creating a logical and structured system with standardtemplates.• Migrating onto a VOIP telephony system (Avaya).• Creating and maintaining a golden image via sysprep for use in our imaging solution FOG.• Upgrade the estate (both physical and virtual) from windows 7/ 8 to 10 whilst ensuring legacybespoke software and services would continue to run.• Testing windows and software patches before deploying via RMM tools, Landesk and PsExec• Doing the groundwork for migration from on-prem to cloud.• Turning the workforce remote for Covid lockdowns.

I worked with various GDS systems used by Dnata, working to strict guidelines and targets, to issue tickets for bookings. A large part of my role is actually quality assurance, ensuring bookings have been created and priced correctly, tracing back any issues in a PNR that would prevent one from quoting.

Working outdoors as part of a contract company for the Scottish forestry commission. This role was varied, from planting trees, planning and implementing irrigation ditches to chasing deer from plantation enclosures. This job involved a lot of repetitive manual work, where time management was incredibly important.

My job was to retain them within the Sky broadcasting network, advise them on the benefits of continuing with Sky, offering exclusive promotions and encouraging customers to upgrade their package. My position demanded that I be familiar with all aspects of the Sky network to ensure customers queries, complaints and issues are dealt with at point of contact efficiently. This role was demanding, very target driven and set in a fast paced environment which I enjoyed and thrived upon
