As a software engineer with a passion for physics, I enjoy solving complex problems that bridge the gap between computer science and the natural sciences. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science at Pomona College, where I also play college football and explore the outdoors.At Pomona College, I work as a research assistant for the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) initiative, a cutting-edge project funded by the National Science Foundation that aims to detect gravitational waves in space. I developed a software tool tailored for this purpose, using C#, .NET Framework, and SQL. I also improved the user interface and the software performance, resulting in a more efficient and intuitive application. In addition, I mentor and guide underclassman researchers, ensuring the growth and continuity of our team.I also work as an analyst at Sagehen Capital Management, a student-run hedge fund with a portfolio worth over 1 million dollars. I research and analyze different securities for the potential allocation of capital, using skills such as software development, data analysis, and security. I collaborate with fellow analysts to make informed and strategic investment decisions, contributing to the fund's performance and objectives.I am always open to fostering meaningful connections and engaging in insightful discussions, especially in the fields of software engineering, physics, and finance.
