Recently undertaking a number of Human Rights cases, High Court Litigation, and a quantity of successful Judicial Review applications. Currently involved in various complex fraud cases, including the successful recovery of land valued in excess of £8M. (Now fully recovered), including the novel case involving the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (“the Orange Peel Case”).Presently advising on a number of breaches under the Money Laundering (JERSEY) Order 2008, involving overseas investments; along with misappropriation of shares, value of £14M. Addressed the Specific Issue Committee, meeting at the House of Lords and given evidence to the Treasury Committee on mortgage Arrears. Obtaining leave 5 yrs. out of time before the VOA on Appeal. Case Stated: case referred out of time, draft and assist litigant to apply by way of judicial review, leading to a successful outcome; including the dismissal of bankruptcy proceedings following the administration challenge and dealing with the human rights issues against a Local Authority. assisted litigant to recover an award via the Financial Ombudsman in excess of £90.000.
