As the owner/operator and sole proprietor of BMD Construction I am responsible for all writing/negotiating contracts, compiling bids, scheduling crews/subcontractors, customer relations and completing work in a timely and professional manner. I am current in my knowledge of building codes and have spent much time working with the building department as a whole and specifically the building inspectors. Proficiencies: - Framing (dimensional lumber and steel) - Siding - Drywall - Roofing (metal, asphalt and cedar shake) - Suspended ceilings - Concrete work (footings/foundations, flatwork and sidewalks) - Finish carpentry (cabinets, doors/windows and millwork) - Reading/modifying prints - Retaining walls (decorative block and concrete) - Decks and stairs - Working knowledge of HVAC systems - General plumbing and electrical - Flooring (Hardwood, laminate, vinyl/VCT, glue down carpet and tile)
