As the Technical Director for the Westerly, RI facility, and was responsible for managing SEACONs efforts in support of submarine sonar and combat systems; specifically the Electrical Hull Fittings and Cable Assembly systems. *The support of these systems includes a wide variety of in service engineering, installation, maintenance, operational readiness, and improvement of submarine sonar and combat systems. *Responsible for all installations, project planning, test planning, cost, and manpower estimates and quality control for submarine programs.*Negotiated $30M contract for supply of all submarine hull penetrations, cable systems and connectors for the ASTUTE Class of Submarines.*Duties include: introducing new technologies for design and use of connectors and cable systems, coordinating efforts for the enhancement of environmental test facilities at SCP, Program Director for ASTUTE Submarine program in the UK, the COLLINS Class weapons update, Spanish S80 Submarine Program and leading the effort in establishing a new manufacturing facility in the UK. .

* As the US NAVY Contractor provided technical engineering and management support for the AN/WSQ-9 Signal Analysis System (SAS). *Designated by PMS415 as the Installation Director for the AN/WSQ-9 and was responsible for the program planning and execution for the installation of this system. *Overseen the development of the Operational Alteration (OPALT) documentation and coordinated installation planning. *Provided on site system engineering evaluations for follow-on improvements to the SAS system and Special Project Development

*Provided program management and system engineering support to NUWC Code 8223, 8215, and 2221 for the AN/BQQ-5, AN/BSY-1, AN/WSQ-9 and various special project systems.*Assigned to Commander Submarine Development Squadron Twelve (COMSUBDEVRON), Groton, CT, as program assistant for tactical applications and operations. *Managed and supervised efforts for PMS 417 (AN/BSY-1 Program Office) at General Dynamics, Electric Boat Division, Groton, CT, for the installation of the AN/BSY-1 on 688 (I) class submarines from 1990-1993.

*Assigned by Raytheon to IBM Manassas, VA, to lead the integration of the Raytheon designed and built MPC and SADS-TG with the IBM built AN/BSY-1 system. *Responsible for overseeing the design and development of numerous test software programs and hardware test components for certification of tactical system. *Assisted in the draft of operational guidelines and employment manuals for COMSUBDEVRON TWELVE and participated as a PMS 417 representative in numerous 688 (I) submarine AN/BSY-1 sea trials.

*Sonar and Diver Division Leading Petty Officer (LPO) on USS CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI (SSN 705) managing over fifteen (15) personnel. *Directly responsible for the combat readiness of the AN/BQQ-5 sonar suite as the Senior Advanced Maintenance Technician and LPO.*Responsible for all diving operations on USS CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI as the Diving CPO. *Held various other technical positions in the U.S. Navy including Sonar Systems Expert for PMS 409 at IBM Manassas, VA, the Sonar Technical representative to Commander Submarine Squadron Twelve, and LPO Billets.
