I have extensive experience representing both private and government employers throughout the country in litigation matters under federal and state statutes, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Credit Report Act, and the Equal Pay Act. I have defended employers in all types of employment litigation from single plaintiff cases to class action lawsuits. Outside the courtroom, I routinely provide advice to employers about the practical and legal implications of everyday employment decisions, including implementing effective workplace policies and practices, disciplining and terminating employees, conducting sensitive workplace investigations, and preventing discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in the workplace.I am admitted to practice in the Georgia Supreme Court, Georgia Court of Appeals, U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Sixth and Eleventh Circuits, and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia. I have also been admitted on a pro hac vice basis in federal and state courts throughout the country.
