My early experience is in the security sector where I progressed from Co-op student at the now Boston Medical Center to supervisor at the Boston University Medical Center. During my tenure, I was project manager for several large projects. My first major project was to develop an alternate operations plan for the Boston University Medical Center when the Commonwealth of Massachusetts took the land used for employee parking under emanate domain as part of Artery Development Project. Combined staffs of over two thousand employees from University Hospital, Boston City Hospital and BU School of Medicine were required to moved to off site parking.My next major project was during the merger of University Hospital and Boston City Hospital, into the now Boston Medical Center. I was responsible for the integration of the security and access control systems of both hospitals as well as the Boston University School of Medicine. The process took several years and included the construction of interim security command centers. My staff was responsible for the rollout of a new ID/access card program. After 10 years at the medical center I left for a pure IT position with a Communications company specializing in sales of long distance, wireless and data services. The company held five locations ranging from Boston to Portsmouth NH. My responsibilities ranged from tech support, network administration, to development of databases for new projects and programs. At this time the economy was in the beginnings of a recession. Adapting to the job market of the time I accepted a position at AAA as an insurance agent. During the next eleven years I became very familiar with the insurance industry and underwriting concepts. I also earned my Certified Insurance Service Representative designation with the National In 2016 I was recruted as Account Manager for Prestige Insurance of Middleton. Here I work on both personal and commercial lines.
