Responsible for the Ruminant marketing team and commercial activity of the business unit including:• Involved in the development of commercial strategy for the Ruminant Business in collaboration with internal stakeholders and occasionally contributes to the multi-species strategy.• Responsible for in depth market research for new and existing products to inform business strategy and identify new marketing opportunities.• Responsible for recruiting, managing and leading effective teams of marketing professionals which identify and create opportunities for product sales, services and transfer of knowledge to customers.• Responsible for managing multiple, complex projects including the development of mPlans for new product launches and creation of innovative, unique marketing contributions to drive business growth.• Responsible for developing and deploying a social media strategy for the ruminant business. Customer focus via new technologies to solve industry problems are also an integral function of this role. Building and launching digital learning platforms for MSD Animal Health for internal and external audiences.• The building of tangible relationships and professional networks with key customers through novel marketing and sales initiatives.This role involves a significant level of collaboration with global and regional species unit leadership teams within MSD AH to ensure effective and timely marketing campaigns. It also involves a significant level of collaboration with enabling functions such as Customer Services, Finance, Sales, Technical Services, and Regulatory Affairs.
