I started out after high school on the end of the shovel in the pipeline industry. I worked hard and learned skills from people in the industry and started to run heavy equipment for Sprint Safety. My journey led me to Carlsbad, New Mexico to B&H Construction. There I lead a team to oversee line repairs and new line construction, everything from poly pipe, steel pipe and fiberspar line. I was approached with a position at DCP Midstream and I am glad I took it. I have learned so much and have made leaps and bounds in this industry. I started out as an operator for an amine treating facility but now I train the operators at this facility and when needed problem solve the amine treating process when they arise. I also lead an outstanding group in the field operations. Responsibly for the low pressure gathering and compression system, compressor maintenance, transmission line, and DOT line patrols and compliance. Thing I do is do the job proficiently and in a timely manner yet keeping safety at the top of my mind.
