I’m a senior at the University of Oklahoma in Biochemistry, and I have a passion for working with others and promoting the welfare of the environment, especially along the coasts and deeper oceans. I have experience working in multiple research labs as a volunteer between various disciplines, such as microbiology and inorganic chemistry, where I was fortunate to be given experience using real-world techniques and instrumentation. I work part time as a server at a four star restaurant, where I have made countless friends and connections and found great success both in my salesmanship as well as boosting workplace morale. I have also worked in a few back-of-house businesses that involved a lot of warehouse and inventory work, updating systems and being responsible for customer satisfaction. My primary goal on LinkedIn is to make as many connections as possible and to find an internship and/or entry level position that serves to cement my place in the scientific community, while also potentially helping the environment and learning new things every day along the way.
