Attachments - Duties include product testing, effect on our machinery, load evaluations, quality, manufacturing methods and materials.Designer - Designed tilt table for ISO stability testing on telescopic mobile machinery with gross weights up to 12,000\ lb, Included was stress analysis, weld analysis and hydraulic components, Pre-clean Concept for the T4 Chassis - Current design has number of leak paths, developed kit which plugs holes and eliminates the rear door for sealing the Battery Plenum Burp Filter on side of SSL/CTL Cabs, Developed Concept to add burp valve to RH side of cab to allow air to pass thru when door is being closed and seals once the Heater/HVAC System is turned on.Material Analysis- Evaluated steel materials for ground engagement tools, performed test in accordance with ASTM methods and unique test for JCB requirementsProduct Development- Was lead design engineer on developing drive chain replacement with toothed belts for the small platform skid steers, Cab Door/Hinge concept - Write test request for door slam test 50k cycles and release PI. Improves stiffening cab door to correct water leak issues.General- Product engineering changes, bill of material maintenance, and new part introduction. Engine / Engine installation and all technical liaison with JCB Power Systems in UK.Power System Engine Liaison - Work closely with Power System Engineer Staff and Quality Group in UK. Work on Production engine concern diagnosis and resolution regarding the JCB engine (Dealing with Emissions, Engine Tear Down, Heading up Test Program on given JCB Engine Issue), Coordinated strip down activities to aid in the identification of problem root causes and liaise with the design team in UK for resolution and verification of solutions. Coordinated and supervised endurance for product testing on behalf of Power Systems division, Received oil analysis training from Polaris Laboratories for machine life extension, predictive maintenance and decreased down time.
