All procurement related responsibilities

Early on I established the Central Texas Purchasing process to effectively negotiate best pricing at the project level, coordinate per project schedules and ensure order completeness. To ensure best pricing and improve orders of magnitude I submitted RFQs for multiple projects and eventually established global pricing based on annual spend metrics. Strategic Suppliers were awarded material categories based on bid multipliers, past performance and historical inventory levels (back order issues). To improve productivity, reduce product back orders and establish a leaner supply chain, Superintendents were required to provide material requisitions no less than 3 days prior to the requested delivery date. This data was provided monthly to Production and Senior Leadership to ensure project material coordination was in step with labor coordination and projections. Proactively hedged on commodities based on market indicators and manufacturers’ announcements to reduce budget exposure. Per supplier agreements 30 days prior notice was required before material increases could take effect. I partnered with project managers to review material estimates and issue POs to large commodity suppliers to beat increases and secure a bulk order that lasted through project completion.As the regional Fleet Manager I managing the RFQ process, acquired / approved vehicle quotes based on company required specs. Met with department management regularly review fleet repairs and maintenance budgets and ensured proper preventive maintenance schedules were followed by department team members.

Received and logged incoming shipments of project equipment, coordinated delivery per project schedule. Managed tool inventory and tracked as distributed to projects.

Managed a team of 6 that were responsible for all shipping and receiving of HVAC equipment, raw materials for shop fabrication, and 500 skus of residential service parts.
