I have many years of experience teaching the piano in Gloucester, both privately and in schools. My professional qualifications are :A.R.C.M. and A.B.S.M. Piano Teaching Diplomas, and L.R.A.M. Piano Performer's Diploma, Incorporated Society of Musicians Registered Private Teacher, with Enhanced D.B.S. Check.I have a very high standard of teaching and I believe that music lessons should be enjoyable, as well as giving pupils a good technical foundation in playing. I always seek to foster their love of music, and to encourage them to achieve all they can.I take pupils of all ages and all levels of ability - up to Grade 8 piano, and beyond, and I also teach Music Theory ( all music exams are optional ).Adult pupils are always welcome, whether as beginners or re-starting piano study after having a long gap.I have a patient, flexible teaching approach and I aim to meet the needs of every individual pupil.I can play and demonstrate to my pupils all the music that I teach.Parents very welcome to attend their children's lessons.
