Worked as a key team-member across many different projects during my time at AMMI.Lead developer for MedBIKE, an exercise bike integrating virtual reality gameplay and remote medical monitoring for rehabilitation applications. Some of my responsibilities included: secure network transmission of real-time biodata between all system components (patient game application, clinician monitoring application, and server application), multiplayer networking (including rudimentary NAT punchthrough with Unity's UNET multiplayer system), integration of WebRTC into Unity to allow video chat, integration of bike hardware components into Unity (USB sensors and ANT wireless devices), and technical supervision and support of the system during clinical testing.Lead developer for TECHNOMED, a remote hypertension telemonitoring study. Some of my responsibilities included: building middleware to receive, transform, and upload data from one external vendor to another, construction of a dashboard for the study team to allow monitoring deployed equipment, and hardware support, including provisioning, inventory management, and support. Lead backend/webapp developer for MedROAD, a platform for the capture and analysis of telehealth data. Some of my responsibilities included: integrating HAPI FHIR into our application, implementing WebRTC to allow video chat between patient and clinicians, and the integration of third-party medical devices into our platform, including characterization of proprietary APIs, communication protocols, and file formats where necessary.
