• I maintain the distribution centers LAN and WAN network in Memphis. I am responsible for implementation and troubleshooting the ongoing operations, design, and all infrastructure support for all five of the Nike distribution centers in the Memphis TN area. As a technical SME and network team leader, I ensure all distribution center operations are working as designed. I work with equipment external service providers such as Cisco,AT&T and the internal teams for support needs. And in planning and in executing data center equipment installation and VLAN changes for the Nike LAN network as well as the WLAN network. This roll also has a infrastructure focus on new network architecture as I support all the IDFs and APs in the Memphis area. Nike is a 24x7x365 operation - evening, weekend, and holiday at times I am on call.

• Responsible for day-to-day support functions within the Network Reliability Operation Center (NROC. Support functions entail Tier II technical proactive and reactive network support, surveillance and restoration of service affecting or potentially affecting network events and issues. Provides technical assistance to field maintenance personnel, trouble tracking, coordination, notification, escalation, and documentation to resolve events and concerns efficiently while minimizing customer impact. Owning and managing network outages to swift resolution.

Solutions sales support.

As a Technical Solution Architect for Sprint I supported one of its major videoconferencing, data, and wireless contracts (FedEx.). I supported the FedEx MPLS WAN network design as well as FedEx Offices videoconferencing network and videoconferencing equipment training. The former network was Frame Relay but I helped convert the FedEx and FedExKinko’s network to a fully meshed MPLS network. Some of my daily responsibilities included training FedEx Kinko’s branches across the Nation equipped with videoconferencing. Requires working closely with the Management, Sales Teams, and employees of those branches. My responsibilities also included supporting solutions sales for the General business sales team in the Memphis area. And network design. I also supported the sales team in offering Sprint’s Wireless and M2M Solutions.

As a Field Service Engineer my responsibilities included field service and technical phone support for Vtel's videoconferencing product line. Involved in troubleshooting installation and repair of all forms and models of digital visual communications equipment. Extensive knowledge of ISDN, ATM, LAN/WAN and TCP/IP networking. Additional responsibilities included handling customer-related problems with local phone companies and long distance providers. As the single point of contact for most customers, my responsibilities involved technical, customer service, and account management aspects the video conferencing.
