-Professional Sea Kayak Guide specializing in marine navigation and environmental education.-Conducting guided trips with clients up to 5 days at a time. Overnight trips extent throughout the San Juan Islands where dangerous sea's exist on a regular basis. Tours are oriented around Orca observations and other varieties of marine mammal sightings. Our guests are educated to the fullest extent of the surrounding area with intent to teach them about the natural history. -Expert in back country camping, cooking, and survivalism.

-Picked up jobs occasionally throughout 5 years with Stille Construction. Specializing in high profile residential construction. -Received on-the-job training in construction methods, practices, and basic design.

-Collaborated in a small team to design, assess,, estimate, and install residential solar arrays for clients. -Specializing in rooftop, ballast, and ground mount installations. -Ground Mount installations: foundation set-up and pour, mounting, array and hoist, cross beam, polycrystalline or monocrystalline panel mount, micro or macro inverter, and grid connection. Primarily used Montana Solar Mounting systems. Rooftop: shingle strip, water resistance applied, framing, panel and inverter, and grid connection.

Began as a bouncer working door at for our music venues. Moved into bar shifts during the day and quickly was able to pick up shifts working late night. Helped with set-up, hosting, and tear-down of a variety of venues.

Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Munising, Mi

-Directed guided tours at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.-Instructed, coordinated, and motivated large groups of guests. Helped manage over 18,000 guests in the summer of 2015. -Oversaw logistics and operations at beach which dealt with large crowd flow of customers, National Park Rangers, as well as the general public.

Marquette, Mi

-Mapping and monitoring: over 150 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline. Performed vegetation surveys, which primarily involved invasive species monitoring.Our primary target was Phragmites, a Wetland reed grass which has the ability to quickly consume a natural habitat. -Community Outreach: throughout Delta, Menominee, Marquette, Schoolcraft, and Alger counties. We sent out multiple county-wide notification forms, permission forms, informational literature, and landowner agreements. We were responsible for retrieval, organization, and report writing for all said documents. Which we later would present to local government organizations, general public, or other local environmental organizations.

Carson City District Ranger Office, Nevada.

-Invasive and noxious weed specialist. Identifying specific species, mapping species using personal data recorders (PDR) and geographical information systems (GIS), treating species with proper method: mechanical, chemical, or biological, monitoring species site after initial treatment to determine effectiveness.-Wildlife surveying and monitoring consistently throughout season. This included the installation of game cameras within district, habitat enhancement, and monitoring for nesting sites of: California Spotted Owl, Northern Goshawk, Sage Grouse, and Pine Martin. -Range: frequency surveys to determine quality of grazing pasture on public land, destruction of stream banks, and variety of grass type for future range objectives. -Recreation: campsite inventory and quality management in selected wilderness areas surrounding and within our district. -Fuels: assisted with a few fuel reduction projects. These consisted of mastication and the treatment of invasive grasses that posed a threat of ignition after seeding had occurred. -Timber: Aspen enhancement projects as well as assisting in timber sale.

-Educated the public on organic, local, and natural foods. Aiding them in making the proper decision to maintain a nutritious and balanced diet. As well as worked with local farmers; processing orders, maintaining inventory, and training new staff members.

Alger County Conservation District

-Invasive and noxious weed mapping, monitoring, and treatment. Addressing public and private issues regarding the ecological state of Alger County; including erosion, tree sales, urban agriculture and forestry, and watershed rehabilitation and conservation. We performed soil, water, and aquatic species monitoring exams for research with a grad student at Northern Michigan University.
