I am a civil trial attorney and third party neutral focusing on the defense of professionals, including attorneys, real estate agents/brokers, real estate appraisers, and insurance brokers, personal injury, and wrongful termination/harassment, wage and hour and discrimination claims. I am a certified specialist in legal malpractice law by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization and was recently appointed to the California State Bar Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct ("COPRAC"). Additionally, I previously served as the Chair of the California State Bar's Legal Malpractice Law Advisory Commission. I have been recognized by the Sacramento Business Journal as the 2013, 2016, 2019 and 2024 Best of the Bar in Professional Liability and Super Lawyer for Northern California for 2012-2021 for legal malpractice defense.In addition to my litigation and mediation practice, I work as a Dispute Resolution Conference judge for El Dorado County Superior Court and a Judge Pro Temp for Sacramento County Superior Court successfully resolving civil disputes. Additionally, I have 40 hours of mediation training from the Pepperdine School of Law Straus Dispute for Dispute Resolution and 40 hours of mediation training as an appellate mediator for the California Third District Court of Appeal mediation program.
