• Full responsibilty for the Remittance Reconciliation (reconcile Bank transactions against memberships generated through aarp.org) application. The various technologies used are C#, ASP.NET, CICS Web Services, Javascript, COBOL, DB2. This application is essential for AARP to keep track of monies coming in to ensure correct tracking of such data to allow AARP to remain financially profitable. • Full responsibility for the Membership Processing Application (KONNEX), which is the front-end to membership processing used by the AARP call center. Knowledge of Powerbuilder, CICS, DB2, mainframe, membership philosophy, and continuous communication with the internal clients allows this application to be accessible 24/7/365. • Full responsibility for production mainframe software migration. This entails communicating with all necessary managers and obtaining necessary signatures, along with verifying all software components. • Implementing and maintaining Endevor, a software change manager, to automate mainframe software development and production migration. Continuous communication with all pertinent IT staff is ensuring the success of this project. • Implemented and currently maintaining a number of client/server, mainframe applications, such as Remittance Reconciliation (RR), AARP Magazine Distribution (MMPO), and Company Organization Gifts (COG). ASP.NET, C#, Javascript, COBOL, DB2, SQL server, CICS Web Services skills was essential for the success of this, along with addressing the questions and concerns of the clients. All implementations were on time and within budget.• Contributing advice in designing methodologies to ‘modernize’ software and hardware, thus gaining operational efficiencies and reduction in technology rework. It is estimated that the ROI will be 50% within 3 years.
