During my time at Vodafone I have gained an understanding of customer service on a more personal level; spending more one on one time with customers at a Sales Adviser level and getting to know them whilst sorting their mobile problems and queries and optimising sales opportunities at a Technical Adviser level. Having already worked across three stores and covered at many others, I’ve also had the chance to work with a huge variety of customer types and can confidently advise any customer temperament and attitude. I have consistently hit sales figures and customer feedback targets and I have a number of regular customers who will come in only to see myself. As part of the Warrington Vodafone management team, I am also completely competent with back office cash systems, stock and security systems and can open, manage and close the store efficiently. I have a fantastic rapport with my colleagues who will come to myself for any issues and problems they face within the store. I am also Siebel/Oracle trained within the Vodafone system and I am regional support regarding questions and issues with the system.

I began working at Topshop as an 8 hour weekend temp, where I learnt stockroom skills including going to the shop floor to change hanger bins and taking rails down for the following days delivery and replenishment for the shop floor. I moved to 30 hours, learning advanced skills such as documentation of recall stock, transfers and faulty stock. I also became a HHT specialist and gave demonstrations to the board of directors on use of the technology. I also visited other new stores to aid in their setup and opening. In November 2012, I joined the Topshop apprenticeship scheme and I have since gained a level 2 NVQ in Retail and, due to being the only apprentice who was previously employed at Topshop, also have part of the qualifications for a level 3 retail management NVQ. I was offered the role of Jersey specialist in January 2013 and moved to the shop floor where I managed the largest in store trend; visual merchandised my area of the shop floor, kept up with the daily figures and gave floor walks to the managers and senior visitors we had in store at times. This was a brilliant chance to really get into the figures/visual side of the shop, after being purely stock based for so long and was incredibly successful in boosting my confidence and perspective on the shop floor. As part of my apprenticeship, I was required to move to different areas of the shop floor and moved onto the tills. This gave me the chance to really get involved with customers, bring a friendly environment to the till and become fully competent with the till technology, helping and training others to use the tills. Despite only being on the tills full time for a month before leaving, I gained two personal customer comments detailing my excellent customer service and friendly attitude towards my job and the public. Finally, I was tasked with managing the stock loss in store, giving briefs on security and gave a floor walk to the stock loss manager of Topshop USA.
