Accountable for SATS Group global procurement activities.

Led TTM’s global supply chain organization. Accountable for all 3rd party spend across all 20+ manufacturing plants in Asia and North America.

Responsible for business strategy and corporate development for Nalco Champion in the Eastern Hemisphere, covering key geographies in Asia Pacific, Africa, Caspian and Middle East.

Accountable for developing and implementing strategies and processes for procurement function in the region. Led both regional and country-based teams that manage contract and supply portfolio that includes raw material, services and equipment.

Accountable for all service and material spend at Shell operated and joint ventures’ upstream assets in Malaysia and Philippines. Managed a team consisting of over 200 staff and contractors across five key locations. Managed annual third party spend that span across exploration, projects and production. Managed all Shell upstream supply bases in Malaysia and Philippines, accountable for Health, Safety and Environment, logistics operations and inventory that support all off-shore and on-shore exploration and production assets.

Responsible for all third party spend, both CAPEX and OPEX at all manufacturing locations; namely Bukom refining complex, Shell Jurong Island petrochemical plant in Singapore, Port Dickson refinery in Malaysia, Tabangao refinery in Philippines, Clyde and Geelong refineries in Australia. Provided functional oversight to all Shell downstream manufacturing joint ventures in Saudi Arabia, China and Japan. Managed a team consisting of over 120 staff and contractors across all wholly owned manufacturing locations.

Responsible for all service and material spend at all Asian downstream manufacturing locations at Bukom refinery, Shell Seraya Chemicals in Singapore, Port Dickson refinery in Malaysia, and Tabangao refinery in Philippines. Managed procurement and inventory team consisting of over 60 staff across four different manufacturing locations.

Responsible for building an Asia procurement organization from scratch to drive and manage a third of division’s global material spend. Accountable for material and services procurement at three manufacturing locations in Thailand, Suzhou and Qingdao, China. Built a procurement shared-service centre in Philippines to provide data mining, data cleansing, spend arbitrage and rationalization and tail spend procurement for global spend portfolio.

Setup and co-managed Emerson corporate sourcing offices in Shenzhen and Shanghai. Interfaced with senior division management on promoting Asian sourcing opportunities, taking full advantage of lower cost through clear arbitrage advantage. Drove and increased Asian material spend by 50%. Led the roll-out of e-sourcing tool across Asia Pacific, enabling rapid cost reduction across multiple categories

Enriching exposure into various logistics operations in air, land transportation, ocean freight and warehousing activities. Responsible for marketing Supply Chain Solutions to MNC customers in Asia Pacific region. Established new distribution centres in Malaysia and Hong Kong with increased storage capacity and operational efficiency.
